I have been using MX Player as optional in my Android XBMC for a while. For any locally stored files I can press context menu to bring up "play using" option and select Mx Player to play files whenever I needed to play HD rips. But every time I try to do that for an online video file via any addons which provide links for tv shows etc even if I select MX Player from menu it would still play in internal player.
I have correctly modified playercorefactory.xml file.
Any idea how I mod the file to make it work for streaming files from online as well?
PS: If I make MX Player as default with the xml it loads streaming file with MX Player..but not when I choose as optional.
