We all know that when a skin is loaded for the first time, all the skin settings XBMC knows about are loaded into guisettings.xml - Obviously no surprises there.

But I'm not sure when this changed but lately the settings are created all in lower case until the users activates the content. I've always liked to stylize my skin settings eg: "NoAnimateFanArt" but this is getting written to guisettings.xml as "noanimatefanart" until it's content is set and then becomes "NoAnimateFanArt"

No big deal & I've decided to change all my settings to lower case as a safe guard because I've had a few ghost in the machine issues lately, but was wondering has this been changed and what is the recommended practice?
