Can a category be hidden? Depending on the user selection and settings it would be very user friendly to hide subsequent categories pending on user settings.

is this possible as for 2018 ?

Something like Kodi settings where you pick basic/expert mode and settings category show up

For most of (sometimes outdated) documentation - no its not possible (or not documented).
