I am trying to install XBMCUbuntu on my old PC but have hit the following error:
XBMC needs hardware accelerated OpenGL rendering. Install an appropriate graphics driver.
Please consult XBMC wiki for supported hardware
Googling this I find many mentions of this problem but no solutions. I am completely new to Linux so am lost in how to proceed.
I cannot get past this screen as hitting the Quit option just cycles me back to the error.
I have tried to find new drivers for my Video card - very old Nvidia Geforce GA-GF2560. but no real success
can anyone help me through this please
