Full Version: Confluence Fork doesn't work properly on Windows system

I created a fork of Confluence. You can download it here. This is a fork for Frodo systems.

I've set the version number to be 2.1.6 so it should supercede the one that the main system uses.

Indeed when I install I do see the version as 2.1.6 under addon settings. But the skin doesn't update. In fact it gets partially corrupted on the weather pages.

If you look in the zip file you'll see there's a changed MyWeather.xml file which makes use of an alternate SideBlade, which should present a sideblade with options for MetOffice.

When I look under C:\Users\<my user>\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\skin.confluence\ I see an addon.xml with version 2.1.6, but the xml files have not updated.

What's going on here? When an addon installs shouldn't it just unzip and copy files to the User directory?
Well it seems to have magically cleared up. *confused*.
