Same here. I have a Raspberry Pi with Frodo (still...) and a few shared folders, a Windows 8 PC with Gotham and some shares, and three Android devices with Gotham connecting to the Pi and PC shares, all using the same credentials (u/n+p/w). In fact all machines have the same sources.xml and passwords.xml. Databases are independent, just using the same shares. Reading in every case is fine. The machines connect using the credentials (i.e. not anonymously, as verified with the Open files page in Computer Management).

Gotham on Android *cannot* write to the Windows shares but it *can* write to the Pi shares.
Other apps on Android *can* write to the both Pi and Windows shares with the same credentials as above.
The Pi/Frodo and the PC *can* write to the both Pi and Windows shares.

Any ideas?
This is what you have to do.

Not working for Windows 8 Pro, as it doesn't have an NFS client or server. Samba is more universal, it's just that its Linux implementations are buggy for years now.
