Hi everyone,

I have installed XBMC on 3 computers all in the same manner:
Lubuntu 13.10, auto log into X then auto launches XBMC. One of the computers conistently crashes. I have tried just about everything, I don't know what to do, im suspecting a hardware issue. It freezes on a slideshow picture and then after some time the computer shuts off.

Any help would be appreciated, I don't find any clues in the logs other than the multiple Upower warnings, but don't really understand what triggering them.

It shuts down? Really? If this happens, it seems to get too hot. Measure your temperature and post a syslog

Yes, it freezes on a picture for a few hours then shuts down. I will do that asap. Thanks.

try without the slideshow screen saver.
It would also be interesting if this happens in gotham nightlies too.
