Hey guys,
I have a HTPC with quite a few movies and TV shows on it. It's XBMCbuntu with Frodo currently. Because of a problem in the kernel for this version of ubuntu, I can't copy my media to a 3GB external harddrive. I'd like to update the version of XBMCbuntu without losing everything, as newer versions use a newer ubuntu without problems for my specific external harddrive.
If I put the newest XBMCbuntu on a flashdrive and try to install it on top of my current installation, will it keep my media? And is there a way to export the metadata so that it's all preserved?
Thanks a lot!
