So

My xbmc keeps saying it's busy streaming a file although I'm quite confident it's not.

I tried to re-install it (thoroughly deleting everything and every file I could find of xbmc) but to no avail. Also tried to play a youtube video or a movie of my collection but still it keeps "streaming" a file.

Anyone knows what I should or could do ?

Yes. You should post a debug log (wiki).

I don't really know what you mean by streaming? Please make the problem a bit more clear.
