Full Version: Possible Bug: wrong location of short vowel 'i' in Hindi (Devanagari))

Hello,

I am using latest xbmc on Android. I realized that the short vowel 'i' in Hindi (Devanagari) appears after the letter that follows the letter which it should be attached to. For example:

video - is spelled vdiyio (वदियिो) instead of vdiyio (विदियो).
setting - is spelled setnig (सेटनि्ग) instead of seting (सेटिन्ग)

The problem is not with the font file (I have changed it to arialuni.ttf ). It is probably an error with the character set files.

This affect the the appearance of subtitle in Hindi (Devanagari)

I may be able to fix this if someone will direct me to the related files.

There are also many spelling mistakes and inconsistency in the transliteration. But that is a minor issue. (For example: Devanagari is wrongly spelled Devanagiri)

OK. Thanks. I just requested to join the team. I"ll see what can be done. But as I said I think it is not a problem of translation, the letter just appear in a wrong order. It is similar to the problem with 'RTL languages' which can wrongly appear from left to Right.
