with latest gotham beta1 and latest git revision I get occasional freezing while playing a playlist of music. basically i'll be listening away and hit a few tracks i want to skip and eventually it will hit one where it just freezes upon loading it (now playing doesnt update) for a good length of time. then it will play about one sec of the recording and then freeze again. sometimes for ever sometimes it will eventually fail and go back to the library
I uploaded a log here:

There are no advanced settings for audio in Gotham.

FernetMenta so far so good in regards to the patch. hasnt been running long but before the patch it would somewhat "struggle" to switch tracks, it was just slower. now it is like it was with frodo
Please don't. There was a reason why we dropped support, right? I don't think we should pretend that we continue support. We are not debian, are we?

I know.
On the other hand there are quite a lot of users left in the desert with AMDs abandonware (I've got one myself), that still run the last xvba version.
yeah i wouldnt go bast gotham stable. even beta1 is fine but it kinda just stopped in the midst of development so you cant even use it with a shared mysql as the db schema changed. thats litteraly the only reason i needed to update
