Hi,

Can I confirm if anyone else is having the same problem with RMVB playback on the Gotham beta?
I have an android box with Frodo and that played the rmvb files smoothly by it was struggling with 1080 mp4s.
With the Gotham beta the 1080 mp4 played back smoothly! but rmvb no longer display pictures.. just sound.

Is this happening with anyone else? Is it possible to make rmvb playback with full video and audio and keeping the 1080 mp4s playing smoothly as well?

Are you using amlogic chip? RMVB decoding does not work on gotham because they removed AMLplayer. But its worse because amcodec "pretends" to support rmvb when in fact it cannot, so it will leave you with a blank video. Instead, it should just return format unsupported and fall back to software decoding so at least you will have something. 1080p rmvb will still struggle on software though.
