I've noticed the PS3 streams and other similar methods are used to get UK catch up plugins working.

I wonder if anyone had noticed freesat's freetime and had any technical details or had tried to sniff traffic, or if the Humax boxes could give any clues?

I'd buy a box for £50 to give it a go, but not if anyone else has already tried it or hit a dead end.

I don't own or use freesat myself but how different are the channel listings compared to TVCatchup ?

As far as I know, TVCatchup are for streaming Live TV, freesat's freetime is for iplayer, itvplayer and 4od (with demand 5 coming IIRC).
