Due to a bit of a PEBKAC situation the drive that held all my videos got pretty seriously corrupted a little while ago. I had nearly everything backed up, but my original backup was so slow on restoring that I've had to seek out some alternate sources for some of the files. As it is, while I will have all of the videos I originally had, there is no chance that all the file structure and folder names will be the same. I do have many backups of my XMBC library data itself.
In short I'd like to be able to restore my data without losing the associated metadata. I could probably handle selecting each movie and listing as watched/not, but the tv shows would drive me up a wall. I am positive someone has asked about this before, but my search turned up tons of unrelated backup situations, largely where the folder tree was the same. Thanks for any help.
