This is with the live version of XBMCbuntu.

A good chunk of my library is simply not being added.

I *think* it might be files with mp3 tags that contain more then ASCII characters in them.

There is no error in the log, the files are simply skipped.

I can re-tag sometimes using only v2 tags and ASCII and they always show up.

Ideas?

This wasn't the case with my old frodo based system.

Edit : If it helps, the entire album is either missing or present. Everything is parsed correctly with windows media player.

Apparently ID 3v2 tags are completely broken in Gotham. ID 3v1 tags still work.

This is unlikely to be the case. It's more likely to be broken tags.

Supply a file so that others can reproduce.
