I'm using Ubuntu 13.10. I have configured a custom resolution for my monitor/video card in /etc/X11/xorg.conf and it works great. It also works great when I use XBMC. The problem starts when I exit XBMC, the screen gets larrger behind the Ubuntu desktop window. It's not even the window manager, it's this blue border that just gets added to the top and left of my desktop. This also causes my mouse to be off by the amount of the extra window adjustments so it's really difficult to click on anything. A reboot fixes it. Any ideas how to stop XBMC from doing this? Thanks.
