Is there a codec I need to install separately in order to play APE files?

My album wouldn't play and an error message said to check the log. This is in the log:

17:02:35 T:3036 WARNING: could not find codec parameters for smb://diskstation/music/NinaSimone.ape
17:02:35 T:3036 ERROR: DVDPlayerCodec::Init: Error creating demuxer
17:02:35 T:3036 ERROR: CAudioDecoder: Unable to Init Codec while loading file

Nope - if it doesn't work it could just be a broken APE file. At anyrate, we'd need a FULL Debug Log.
