Full Version: XBMC doesn't display ISO images on UPNP device

Hi,

I am very new to XBMC. I am running Gotham (30 March) on an 'Ouya'.

I have all of my data on a small DLNA certified NAS device - a Promise SmartStor 2300.

I have gone to Video > Files and added a couple of UPNP locations where my videos are kept. During this process it does NOT show the 'Set Content' screen. And when you bring up the context menu later, the 'Set Content' option isn't there. I have since found out that this is some sort of limitation when using UPNP devices. This isn't a huge issue as when going to these locations, all of my files are listed.... except ISO files!? All of my ISO files are full DVD copies.

All of the support I have seen to similar issues has asked the question "are you sure you have imported files into the XBMC library", however as already stated, this is not able to be done.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
BuckoNZ
My workaround:

Load the ISO on the Virtual Drive on my PC. I then create a Windows Share location in Files on XBMC. Works quite well.
