Hi all,

I have had a RPi for 6 months which has run on the latest official versions of Openelec without issue. I then bought a second RPi to place in the bedroom.

Both RPi's have the same firmware and skin (quartz) but the bedroom unit is only displaying movies and tv shows in 4:3 ratio. Whatever i have changed it reverts back to the 4:3 ratio.

Help?/

You have tried to change both PI's, I assume?
Another thing you can try is to change the config.txt to disable CEC.

Have you tried swapping the two pi's? Maybe it's the display device. Our bedroom TV is much more willing to adjust the pi output correctly than a projector (same pi, splitter in the circuit) in the family room.
