Hi Guys,
I just purchased a new TV and I'm running into choppy playback with Match Refresh Rate to Video enabled, no matter what I try.
TV: Vizio M501 LED
HTPC: AMD A8-3850

Help would be greatly appreciated!
Try unchecking 'Use a fullscreen window rather than true fullscreen'. You might also want to check your audio settings - this is a great place to start troubleshooting

And please stop posting multiple questions on the same subject.
Yep enabling "'Use a fullscreen window rather than true fullscreen" is most definitely not going to give smooth video.

Thank you so much, that solved my problem immediately!

Thanks for the link, but I have already read that link as well as pretty much every other thread on stutter/choppy playback.
To be clear though, my posts, with the exception of the duplicate in the Windows support section, are completely unrelated issues.
1 was a confirmed Gotham hug with a confirmation prompt
1 was a AV sync problem that hasn't been solved
This problem was a stutter with a new tv that didn't exist with the old TV
LOL - yeah thanks jjd-uk. Was the first sentence of my post invisible?
So you had posted multiple times - once in General and 1 in Windows - those are the ones I was referring to, so I reiterate - please stop posting multiple questions on the same subject - AV Sync. 1 is quite sufficient
Its a subject which has been done to death - searching will provide you with several threads on the issue, none of which have provided a solution, particularly with 24hz playback.
Missed it on your first post. Sorry and thanks!
Is the sync problem Gotham specific?
Does it exist on all OS?

Was that the wind or did someone say something
Clearly it was the delay via satellite

Here's a link to the issue on Windows - don't know about other OS, haven't tried any others. Long thread and been an issue since 2010 (Dharma)
