This is based on libreelec 8.2.0 (which is not yet final). I chose this as it's based on Kodi 17.4 final. Also note that this is for x86_64.

Not work my RC:
LibreELEC:~ # modprobe lirc_serial
modprobe: FATAL: Module lirc_serial not found in directory /lib/modules/4.11.12
P.S. I have solved a problem - instead of
lirc_serial I used
serial_ir. Everything works.
Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to set up a Windows environment yet. Time is not on my side
I did compile 8.1.1 for those interested (my last compile was not based on a release):

I'll try to keep up with Libreelec releases as much as possible.

8.2.0 works well.
Yeah, that's the one I'm running currently, but it's not based on an official release, so more bleeding edge.
I'll stick to releases form now.

Did you try copying the file in the Update folder and rebooting your device?
If that doesn't work, maybe Libreelec doesn't allow for downgrades. In that case, you'd have to backup and reinstall from scratch.

In your assembly there are no Update folder, only an image. Needed to update : SYSTEM and KERNEL files

Copy the img file in the Update folder of Libreelec, it works.
How do I use this in combination with DSPlayer?

Tried your build using a Bluetooth device as secondary channel but no sound on second channel for LiveTV.
It does seem to produce GUI sounds but actually content won't be heard on second channel.
/edit:
A few reboots seems to have solved it.
The 8.1.1 release is also working on my system. Thanks for the build dgege. I can unhook by HDMI splitter again now. The DA code always works better.

Glad it works for both of you.
Gentlemen, is there any update available yet for LibreElec 8.2.0
Don't suppose anyone has compiled a Windows 17.5 version?
