Is there a way to make the menu entries half transparent? I love this skin, but the bright white text burns into my Plasma TV within seconds.
It's a Panasonic Viera 2013 with NeoPlasma-technology. They all have this problem.
Any idea which value in which xml needs to be changed?
EDIT: Found it. It's defaults.xml within the colors-subfolder.
up !
I have neither the name of the channel or program details.
However, the options are checked in the menu.
Is this a problem OSD? Is it possible to do all appear?
Thanks a lot
Is it possible to disable the OSD when you listen to the music And only see the visualisations ?

I can't test PVR stuff at the moment.

Yes, don't open it in the first place or press back to close it.
Ah the info screen.
Just press 'i' again to hide it.

Ok so i'll wait
and thanks again for your work.
WOW, this skin really is clean and beautiful!
There are two things that I would like to know if could be possibile:
1) A longer vertical menu, where every element is shown. I have tried making a mockup:
2) Showing Home Submenus as a column on the home screen, similar to how the settings screen works. Another (horrendous) mockup:
It might not be very apparent, but what I was thinking of was something similar to this look:
Of course, these are only humble suggestions. If the allmighty skin-maker (not being sarcastic here), don't want to consider these, you of course have no obligation to spend any time defending that choice. (Wow, reading through it, that sententence sounds strange. Please excuse my non-native English. My point is: I feel strange making "requests" to someone doing this in their spare time, so don't hesitate to just dismiss my suggestions out of hand).
Hi Hitcher
Great work. Love it!!
This is not a request for extra features. But would it be possible to tell me what I would need to do to the code in order that in:
1) TV shows it shows the ‘run-time’ instead of the ‘aired date’ and in…
2) Movies it shows ‘run-time’ instead of ‘genre’?
Also, is there any way for the audio properties (i.e. stereo or 5.1 etc.) to be shown somewhere (this is not shown in ‘info’ as it stands) e.g. as an third category along with ‘episode no.’ and ‘aired date’/‘run-time’ in TV Shows or ‘year’ and ‘genre’/’run-time’ in Movies.
Lastly, I added a custom background. But when I tab out of a running show the background appears to be the default ‘Blue’. I’ve tried renaming my custom background to ‘Blue’ but the issue remains. Is there any way to change the default to my custom background deeper in the code?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
From looking at the screenshots I love your design Hitcher, however, on kodi on my AFTV (Fire TV) I get the "Dependencies not met. Please contact Add ons author."
I searched this thread, and wider, but don't see anything related. Other posts call out incompatibilities, so maybe my version of kodi is not supported?
my version: kodi-14.0-Helix-armeabi-v7

Have the same issue using a Minix X8H. Switching off amcode in the video acceleration does fix the problem, though that means dropping frames when playing back high bitrate files. It also disappears when you switch to the home screen and then back into Kodi. Issue does not shop up with other skins. Tried playing around with some of the xml files and switching the Blue.jpg to a black image with no luck.
