So, simple story, I went to upgrade to 13 RC1 and ha ha, it pulled 14 Alpha 1 from the nightly repo instead, I removed the nightly repo, but since 14 Alpha 1 is 'newer' than 13 RC1, Ubuntu thinks that it's up to date. How can I FORCE XBMCBuntu to install a specific version of the package, that being 13 RC1?

uninstall the newer version and install again.
or apt-get install xbmc=exact-version xbmc-bin=exact-version

Thanks, I went with your second suggestion and it worked. Back on the RC1 track and I won't accidently getting nightlies anymore.
