Hello everyone,
So i checked all of the threads and didn't find anything related to this so it must be I'm the only one with this issue.
My setup.
-Windows 7 running XBMC Gotham as a server.
- (1) apple TV2 running XBMC Frodo as client.
- (1) Apple TV2 running XBMC Gotham as client.
so i can see the windows 7 XBMC shared video library just fine. i play the movies. all very good.
but, when i check "mark as watched on my apple TV2 it doesn't put the little check mark next to the name. I have waited for even an hour to see if it takes time to refresh.
however, when i go back to settings on my apple tv and change the uPnP settings (enable or disable) and i go back to the file then the checkmark is magically there.
as if doing that forces a refresh of the watched status.
this holds true for both my apple TV.
Is there something I'm missing ?
was i supposed to open some ports on the windows machine firewall ?
Thanks.
=====================
EDIT:
well I actually took firewall off on the windows machine to test and no updated checkmark for watched status.
Also if i exit out of XBMC on the apple TV2, when i go back in the files DO GET updated with the watched status.
is this Normal behavior, like on a timer to get updated or is it supposed to happen immediately ?
