Nope! But it's crazy.
This morning, I've launched "Plants vs Zombies 2" and my XBMC turn on by itself...
I don't know what is the problem. XBMC ? RaspBMC ? Remote App ?
You need to test it also with Angry Birds and if XBMC will beat all the pigs, call an exorcist
no seriously, what you are describing seems something out of the skill of the remote app.
The app pauses the playback only with the play/pause button on the remote, there aren't other places where the app sends this command.
also for the wake on lan, the app sends the magic packet only if you hit the 'wake on lan' button.

it's absolutely crazy but it's happened to me also !!!
if I have a video playing or a filmon channel running and my wife starts Candy Crush or Angry Birds on the ipad, xbmc stops playing !! Can anything be done apart from disconnecting the ipad from the wifi network
I found the problem.
Sometimes the AirPlay connection stay active so when you launch an app which play sound, the raspberry CEC system is activated....
You just need to unconnect the AirPlay before playing...
