Hi everyone,

I tried a quick search on the forums before posting but could not find anything relevant.

I am trying to add .strm links to my library.

The files are created this way:

/Music/Artist Name/Album Name/songnumber - songnamme IDXXX.strm and the contents of the file are a direct link to the media.

If I browse the file system in xbmc I can play each song just fine.

Now I am trying to have them integrated to the library using this information: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=NFO_files/music

I tried creating an artist.nfo file containing the most basic info for a start such as:
<artist>
<name>Daft Punk</name>
<genre>Pop</genre>
</artist>

Same for an album.nfo

I placed artist.nfo in /Music/Artist Name/
album.nfo in /Music/Artist Name/Album Name/

I also tried renaming the nfo to match the artist name and the album name

In all those cases they were not added to the library. Could there be something really easy I am missing?

Thanks for any help on this as I am very confused on what I am doing wrong :/
I don't have any .strm to play with, but my experience is that Frodo had some problems with music nfos that is fixed in Gotham.
