hi,

i now that its possible to use one database in local network (http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=MySQL), but thats not what i want. how can i share my database with friends, so that they can see what movies and series are stored in my database? this information should stored on a web-server. its not for playback this movies or series, only see the database. can i do this with trakt or an other add-on?

There are webinterface addons that will do this

Do make sure you properly secure things if you are making this available across the internet though.

but this only works when the htpc is running. i want save the movies and series online, so that friends can see the database even when the htpc isn't running.

Syncing and sharing (wiki). There's about three add-ons/services that will do this.

i've tried myepisodes. the addon supports only series with the english title, not in other languages?

when i use the english title i camn see the series in "Change My Shows List " in the box "Your Favorite Show List", but there are no episodes in the "episodes list".

For movies you can use www.Sharethe.tv addon which works pretty well. It gets about 95% of the movies in my database. As for TV shows, I haven't found anything yet.
