On my computer with XBMC Aeon MQ5 I cannot get xbmc official remote to work. I typed in the right mac, ip, port, username and password but it sill will not work. I noticed though where it says MAC address and Internet connection it says busy like every 10 seconds or so. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

You shouldn't have to specify the MAC address. Also, what error are you getting? Try accessing the web interface from a browser to make sure you really have the right settings.

It works now. I needed iTunes installed to make it work.
