Hi,

I'm sure there is probably some documentation about this but I can't seem to find the right search parameters to find the answer to this question. I have a dual boot system with both Windows and Ubuntu. I want to have one directory for XBMC which I place in my third partition so that any changes I make on either operating system are automatically applied to the other. So my question is if I sym-link both...

/home/user/.xbmc

and

C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\XBMC

to the same directory, will this achieve my desired result? I know the userdata folder is important but it doesn't seem to include everything such as all the addons etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Managed to get this sorted and the answer is yes. If anybody needs help with this or SABnzbd I have managed to get both working seamlessly in both Ubuntu and Windows so just post to this thread and I'll tell you what I know.
