I had the same problem installing gotham 13.1 jus sound no picture, after watching video I have picture and sound I did not hav 2 install other files etc to make it work, PLEASE reply if this fixed your M8 if not let me know and I will not try but I will do my best to help u as I say tryn is lying LOL!!! I only have 1 favor to ask I any1 running P2P wit acestream/sop cast to watch PPV events cus I'm having problem installing P2P and if sum1 can help me I'll appreciate it, please PM me if u like, thank u for any help if possible.....

Edit Update: I only tested on 1channel and Go Movies bcus I did fresh start then was about to delete 13.1 but decided to not GIVUP HOPE so reinstalled xbmc to test

Also PM me if any1 is interested in possibly MAKN youtube videos on only Android M8 tv box bout issues and fixes, I'm considering in doing this jus WANA see if any1 will help me again jus a thought to help M8 users like us out...

Right, because turning off H/W decoding is always the answer. Good luck playing anything that requires any real horsepower to decode. You can get a H/W acceleration enabled XBMC for M8 from freaktab.com thread here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...pid1745848.

Atv2jber I jus found the new M8 Firmware update with gotham 13.1 I was about to post the link but u beat me to it, also found video to do the firmware update so newbies can c it done b4 they attempt themselves...
