Hello, I have been using XBMC for a number of years with a shared MySQL database on multiple clients. Most clients are RPi, but I also have windows and linux. I have used two features constantly; the Update Library function from the Movies context menu, and the Clean Database function for the Settings > Video > Library. I am very sad that these functions seem to have been removed from Gotham. Is there any way I can regain the functions these items did for me? Are they located in a different area of the GUI and I am just not finding it?

To update the library I must now keep a client with the sources configured. Previously I could do it from any client, even if the client did not have an updated sources file. Because most of my clients are RPI, I do not reboot them very often and the Update Library function on startup is not the best solution for me.

Thanks for any help I could get on this. Not a big complaint but it does make my home entertainment system much more difficult to manage without these options.

Update library: In side menu
Clean library: You need to set advanced or expert settings level

Update Library is now located in the left hand menu (confluence) and for clean database you'll have to adjust the settings level. It's still there.

EDIT: miappa was faster Wink
