After updating to Gotham or before the item in the context menu to update the data base obviously has disappeared (the context menu has changed). Where could I find it / add it to the menu?

Yes, I had found it there, but it is greyed out, without a function. Some time ago, there was an item in the context menu.

What skin is this? I noticed, that in some skins some things are missing/not displayed correctly. So I would prefere to use the default skin to make those updates.
