Now that we got that out of the way... can anyone help with my issue?

kodi youtube addon missing activation codes on initial login. Last night I did a factory reset throough clockwork mod of my FireTV. Fresh install, Kodi is new, shiny & bright!

Upon initial setup of youtube I start the activation wizard, choose thumbnails etc. etc. it the tells me I need to enable two applications so that youtube is functioning properly. after clicking OK, I just get a "login failed" message instead of the activation codes.

I've gone through this process a few times in the past. I know what I'm looking for, it's just not showing up.

What am I missing?

Sorry, based on you log you're using at least 2 banned addons. Some of the addons cause warnings and a lot of errors. Sort them first out, better remove them completely.

Are you running the Jarvis beta? It's a known issue there and likely due to changes in Jarvis. Sorting should be working fine in Isengard.

Should be already fixed in 5.1.12

Sorry, nothing the log based on the addon. Provide a log using the addon.

I've another idea...but I've so little time at the moment and don't want to complicate things with the addon in Python you do not really recompile

5.1.11 version used to have a sort option that was "Year" now it is "Date" with the 12 version. On both my windows 7 machine running 15.2 with Aeon Nox Skin, and RP2 running 14.2 with confluence skin, they will not sort the search by "Date" properly. The videos are not organizing by the dates for ascending or descending. Before the automatic update to 12, a few days ago, it was working fine. I would do a rollback, to see if 12 is the problem, but that option is greyed out.

I attached (2) supporting images. One with the search settings and another with the results. Notice that the videos are not arranged in a date specific order. They should be arranged chronologically as the setting would suggest. Again, this worked perfectly in version 11.

After many years at a standstill there's actually some hope on this now, with development being done, as ffmpeg now supports DASH. Exciting stuff!!

Anyone else have an issue where audio doesn't start playing until a second or two after unpausing? Just upgraded to Isengard and the issue appeared at that time.

Hi, does this add-on supports youtube 'restricted mode'?
If YES - is there any way to switch between 'restricted mode' OFF/ON.
If NO - is there any chance to add such support?
I think some parents will be thankful.

I have the same issue as others about the "dalily limit exceeded" but something weird is that on Helix 14.2 (macbook pro) youtube works great but on Isengard 15.2 (Openelec 6 and macbook pro) the problem occurs.

My youtube is 5.1.12 from your github page

Same thing with the Popular right now section, on 14.2 it's all right but on 15.2 it tells me Unknown kind "

A new error message just started for me on 2 different devices. When I click on "Subscriptions" an error box appears that says "Exception in Content Provider" and under that it says "unknown kind". In the "My Subscriptions" folder, all the videos from all my subscriptions are listed but without thumbnails and they do play.

@faresqc: The addon uses different API keys for each kodi version. That's why you need to re-authenticate after upgrading.

I have this same issue though I am running windows 10 1511 Kodi 15.2
I went into google account and removed all Kodi references and then reauthorized my living room Kodi machine. That one worked for that use session.

Then later on when I went to bed I tried to use my laptop in my bedroom with same versions of software and after authorizing that one I get the unknown kind error.
Then this morning I tried to use my living room pc and it didn't work either...
