XBMC 13.1 git:f2acae7 Ubuntu 14.04
I had set up XBMC source pointing to a SMB share. Everything was working OK.
Now I need to remove that TV source and replace it with another. So I edited source, pointing it to the new server. However, the underlying settings were not changed. I could see this when I looked at episode information (e.g., smb://oldserver). So I removed this source and re-created a new source pointing the the new server. But when I looked at episode information, it still pointed back to the old server.
Then I removed the TV source altogether, but the TV shows still were there, still pointing to the old server.
So I exported the library, changed all occurrences of "smb://oldserver/" to "smb://newserver" and imported that library. There is still no source for TV shows when viewing TV Shows|Browse|Files!. When I look at the list of a single TV Show, each episode is repeated twice, once for the old and once for the new server.
How can I clean this mess up?
