Please, please help!

I bought an XBMC box last month. The broadband provider changed my router yesterday and since then I have been unable to operate box. It is connected via ethernet, but still asks for lan and wifi pass. I go into program, settings, network manager and key in the SSID and wep/wpa key and press ´done´and comes back with ´That is not a know encryption´.
Next to it has highligted button stating 'Add Hidden' and won´t allow me to refresh. I cannot seem to delete the previous SSID and WPA which states ´Refresh´ highlighted next to it.

Apologies up front for being naive.....

Thanks for any help.

Sad
whatever "xbmc box"(hint: there are no official xbmc boxes) you bought, on whatever OS:
why do you configure WLAN if you are connected via ethernet?
