hi

if i am in the videos-menu and i sort the files (eg. dates asc or desc), all the zipped files (.rar/.zip) are first listed (and sorted in the right way). but after all the zipped files, there are all video-files, sorted for new. they are showed like that:

xy.rar - 26.05.2006
xx.rar - 25.05.2006
video1.avi - 26.05.2006
video2.avi - 25.05.2006

is this the intended fuctionality?

yes - it's treating the .rar and .zip files as directories.

hm...ok, thank you. then the only possiblility to avoid this situation is to move the zipped files to a seperate directory.
