Probably more of a feature request, so please move if appropriate 
I vaguely remember reading a few months ago the idea that skins would detail their support for optional features - most notably PVR - in the addon.xml, so that users would have some idea of the skins capabilities before installing.
With more skins starting to use skin shortcuts, its now reached a stage where this would be useful for the script - so that skins without PVR functions wouldn't show the users customised PVR menus - so I was wondering if this idea ever got beyond discussion stage, or if there is another way that skins can indicate (or scripts can detect) whether PVR is supported by the active skin?
