The subtitles addons work great in Kodi Helix alphas, I have been using it for a long while.

The only observed problem is when you download a set of subtitles that are out-of-sync or just plain wrong subtitles like wrong language other than one it was suppose to be. (both of these happen.) <- thats not a problem that can be helped anyway.

Issue then is the second lot of downloaded subtitles, over in my machine Ubuntu minimal base + Kodi dont load until full stop playback and restart playback, I tried pausing/enabling/disabling subs and none forces a reload of second set or throd set if the second also happens to be hopeless.

Usually Debug logs would follow but aside from downloading messages and subs loading message you get nothing unusual aside from downloading and loading the sub and second sub ovewrites first sub namefile.lag.ext

Just posting here so people have a stab at trying to duplicate this.

Kib said to me on irc that he noticed this, and for him pausing worked, though for me only full stop and restart works on loading second sets.

Redoing this 4 or 5 times to get a working set is less that ideal but in case its some corruption somewhere. I would like some input on here.

Even though I have XBMC subtitle service installed, still when I have movie playing and when press square button no subtitle window screen open up like open subtitles.....any idea in 13.2 or Kodi..

Did you enable any of the subtitle provide service addons? Just the subtitles itself doesn't do anything.

Are you using compatible skin? Try confluence to be sure

Doesn't work .. I tried all steps when I click on square icon on Apple TV remote
on movie nothing shows up... On the other hand

Clicking skin settings addon - Video OSD - Subtitle Addon - clicking both Subtitle addon or configure I don't get any sub menus .. I am so confused please help.. It's latest gotham 13.2

In frodo when I use to do all click on square and subtitle showed up and I selected.. Here I don't know about enabling.
Do I hav press something diff on Apple TV to view English subs

Neither of those screenshots are for XBMC 13.2 they are for 12.3 frodo at best which is not supported any longer, but given the addons you have I see why you opted for an outdated xbmc which also indicates you may already have xbmchub wizards and such installed who ultimately bork xbmc to death.

Started working.... In confluence.. Not confluence 7 skins...
However when Is click on download I have 3 services.. But says subtitles not found in movie..
Any ideas...

Should I uninstall XBMC hub .. Will that help... But definitely it's 13.2

You never going to download any subs with this crazy filenames as show in http://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img673/8374/cjfQKP.jpg try manual search theres abutton on that subtitle download page at the bottom right called MANUAL SEARCH

As for whatever you have installed its already likely sccrewed with your install, so removing t now wont revert the damage not supported here and no one cares. My advice is tread lightly as you walk too close on this line http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=149712

I know but when I play same movie in 12.3 .. It doesn't show me crazy file names.. Isn't that weird.. I am doubting.. Is there a way to change string in settings.. Pls advise.. Thanks for ur help
