Hi! 
New to xbmc, just recently built a box and am loving everything so far, but I just got a remote set up for my xbmc box. and I was wondering if there is a way to set up the number pad to act like a keyboard similar to the way phones used to do before they were all so smart. like if you hit the 2 button repeatedly it would scroll through 2,a,b,c..
Or is there another way to access the keyboard using the remote so I can use the search functions?

this is the HW I am using if it matters. asus chromebox w/openelec & flirc w/ harmony 350.
