If I have a movie playing on monitor 1, when I move the xmbc player to monitor 2,

the audio continues to play, but it shows only a black screen

I need to stop and resume the movie, for the image to appear again..

can someone add this to the bug tracker

What OS? What GPU? Which acceleration?

Something similar is currently handled in github, but you provide far too few information. Debug Log

ati 6950

acceleration: hardware
-allowed dxva2 is enable

if I change to software

or disable
--allowed dxva2 is enable

It would show a green screen and it would play at all
