Flash the M-195 firmware with the Eweat,all i got was the boot screen.
So i revert back to the original firmware,i will wait till they release a that firmware for the M-195.
I looks like the device is getting there.
And Dolby ATMOS is supported
I CAN CONFIRM THAT EWEAT 902 WITH REALTEK 1195 chipset [/php]SUPPORT ANY HD AUDIO FORMAT ALSO DOLBY ATMOS WITH ONKYO 636.

Does the Eweat EW-902 passthrough HD audio (ie DTS-HD and TrueHD) in Kodi / XBMC ? (or only via the player outside of XBMC?)
If anyone has the M-195 can you confirm if the recent update for the EW902 works on the M-195 and does passthrough HD audio and 3d Bluray isos from Kodi / XBMC?

I flash the Eweat firmware on the M-195, but it get stuck on boot screen..

Sorry - I did see your post earlier Movie78. In another (less reputable) forum, I saw that someone said that it did work, but didn't provide any details of what was working once booted.
Anyone else tried it?

Post 48 talks about HD audio passthrough - I wanted to know if this was in XBMC or not (it is not indicated)
For the other question, I saw someone else state that they used the EW902 firmware on the M-195 and said that it worked, but didn't provide any further information. I was asking if anyone else has tried the EW902 firmware on the M-195
Is there any way to recover from an interrupted firmware update on M-195 ? Power got cut off during flashing and now lights turn on but theres nothing on screen.

Step 1: use the winrar program to open the install.img file on your windows PC, and then extract the following file:
“rescue.emmc.dtb”“emmc.uImage”“ rescue.root.emmc.cpio.gz_pad.img”
Step 2: copy the following ” install.img”“ rescue.emmc.dtb” “ emmc.uImage” “rescue.root.emmc.cpio.gz_pad.img ” to the root of the USB DISK.
Step 3:
Use the toothpick to press the “RST” button and then power on the device, don’t lose the toothpick till 5 seconds.
Step 4:
Connect the HDMI cable with your TV, and you will see the update process on TV. it need take about 3 mins to finish the update.
Pass trough works at least on external player..need more time to test on kodi
I've tried latest nightly(

It works ok with Mediacodec(from 20% to 30% cpu usage on both cores), but sometimes it just exits, even plays back 1080p HEVC(H.265) files correctly, excluding tears of steel 1080p.mkv files which outputs the following error in kodi.log:

With the same version of kodi in my m-195 the cpu usage is the same but the playback is far from good. There is a constant, every one second, small glitch in motion that is very annoying. I don't know if there is a problem with my unit but for now kodi is unusable. The native realtek player plays well. Latest SPMC plays almost the same as kodi.
