Firstly my apologies if this post is in the wrong section or has already been covered

i have raspbmc and use a windows phone remote control ,all was working fine using Ethernet cable but ive just added a wifi dongle which also works fine but now my remote does not.

any ideas how i fix this please
im sure its very simple but its got me stumped and google was no help at all.

Has your htpc's IP changed since adding wifi?
Simply check your network settings.
