You might have buffering issues because vpn usually slows down your connection you need to have good reliable VPN I have 84 mbps download / 92 upload and most vpns can't handle that.

Yeah that's kinda what I was saying, use DNS not VPN

I was using privateinternetaccess for my VPN (US East server). When I got buffering problems again yesterday I found that switching to a different server location helped.
Hi
Can somebody please help, I'm using this app perfectly (via unlocator) on my PC & raspberry pi and it's brilliant so thank you but I cannot get it to work on android mx2 box.
It displays the channel and allows me to watch the golf channel but everything else, live & catch up, it crashes XBMC all together. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Dan
Has anyone else noticed that the NBC Sports Live Extra Add-On is not available to install?

I just installed XBMC Kodi for my Nexus 5 (ARM) and can't find the NBC Sports Live Extra Add On At all which is a bit strange.

I just installed XBMC Kodi for my Nexus 5 (ARM) and can't find the NBC Sports Live Extra Add On At all which is a bit strange.

It shows up on my laptop here:

System > Add-ons > Get Add-ons > XBMC.org Add-ons > Video Add-ons > NBC Sports Live Extra

If you can't find it on yours, you can download it direct from here.
Quite new to this. Used this addon for the first time this weekend and it has been fantastic, however yesterday it stopped working for me (Liverpool v Swansea). All the streams are showing (active in blue) and my usa vpn is active but when I try them I get a 'failed to play' message. Has this happened to anyone else or can anyone please point me in the right direction to sort? As always thanks for any help in advance and a big thanks to eracknaphobia for his creation Huh
Sorry, forget the last post....got it working again Huh Appears to be a vpn issueHuh
ignore VPN and use DNS - a good one i use is http://www.unotelly.com
Thanks I will give it a try
I would give the opposite advice and say find yourself a good VPN.
On Sunday I had NBC Live Extra running for 7 hours with only one very brief buffer and around 5 hours on boxing day without a hitch, in that time I had several friends who were using DNS services complaining that it was unwatchable.
It might help that I have a 152 meg internet connection but my US VPN slows that down to 25 meg, allowing for overheads you probably don't need anything more than a consistent 8-10 megs to have NBC working perfectly.
As this service becomes more popular the DNS services are becoming unable to cope and now Unotelly has been mentioned on such a public forum I'd expect that to suffer problems soon.

Not all ISP's support DNS and I'm a victim here where VPN is the only resort
Hello,

I'm new to XBMC, this add-on and my Raspberry Pi and had a quick question after reading through this thread.

I have used unotelly DNS to connect and am able to watch all of the full game replays and the live golf channel.
But although future games and tv programmes are listed in orange in the Live section, when the time comes around they have disappeared.

Is it possible to watch live games using this add on or shall I stick with my Premier League Pass to watch the EPL games live today?

Thanks

I am having the same problem using my vu+ box the only difference is I still see the list of the live games when I click on any game a picture comes up saying the coverage will start shortly even the game has started.
But its working fine on my laptop .

If you are outside US I would use a reliable VPN.

for example I am in the US but when I need things to watch that are limited to one country I use open vpn on my Amazon Fire TV.

If you use PC it's even easier just use the vpn app.. or open vpn I would suggest you look at some reliable provider.
NBC is becoming unreliable i am able to stream BBC and AL JAZEERA with VPN no buffering at 720p but even at SD 200 / 400 / 600 / 900 NBC Live will buffer it's really annoying
