I can rarely get this to work anymore. Managed to get a couple of BPL replay's to work earlier but can't get the live game to work "failed to authorise". So frustrating!!!
cleared cache, tried various VPN's... about ready to give up now!
Anyone have a full proof method of getting this thing to work properly

Same with me and I have given up now, seems so many parameters which can influence the result, Kodi version, android version, android player, VPN/DNS etc etc etc !

I've got this addon on quite a few different android/pc devices now. The only constant for success is the VPN used. For me anyway.

Not sure what your issue is, the addon is working fine for me. Windows 7.

Not sure what your issue is, the addon is working fine for me. Windows 7.

Of course the app works for many just not for me, I lose connection now after 2 minutes, must be my Android,Kodi or VPN, tried all and same result or other problems.

not been able to get this working since yesterday. keeps failing, but does open the golf channel. same details dns service on a windows pc and it works fine on web browser. only thing i noticed it took about 10-15 seconds to get going on windows, on the addon its failed after 5 seconds.

In that case maybe the timeout needs to be increased in the addon

Is there anyway to go back to a previous version of the addon? The new feature where premium plays from main window is no good for me. When I got the 2nd blue link I could turn the VPN off at that point but now the video plays straight away im having problems pausing the plugin, to switch the VPN off and then playing the stream through my DNS provider. Once it's paused it won't start again if I come out of kodi and go back in.

There should be a Rollback option in the Addon-Information section. I'll add a setting that will allow you to toggle the play from main on / off.

i cant get this to work on my fire tv but i can get it working on my laptop
both have same version of kodi and nbc add on
dns settings saved on the router ( tried them on fire tv but still didnt work)

i tried reinstalling the addon but that didnt help

anybody had this problem before?

In this update I've changed the cable / satellite setting from a type="enum" to "labelenum".
You WILL need to set your cable / sattellite provider once you update to this version but future updates should no longer effect this setting.

I'd say try using a VPN but I don't think VPN's work with the fire tv?

Firstly thanks eracknaphobia for the great addon.

i just want to say I've been playing about with different set-ups to get this work over the last two weeks. Now it works every time on multiple devices. my main set-up is;

Intel NUC
Ubuntu 14.04 server
Kodi 15.1
openVPN with paid VPN provider
virgin media 152mb broadband
DirecTV subscription


having tried numerous DNS providers with limited success, i would recommend using with a good paid VPN provider. I now can connect every time with no "failure to authorize" errors and the streaming quality is usually perfect 1080.

Looking forward to the prem being back this weekend.
