Maybe the -recently successfully updated- ESPN3 add-on developers should have a look.

Man that add on works like a dream now...the 60fps stuff looks really good.

I've got the same issues as most on here, using a Comcast login I can only play the green links, blue ones won't start playing, I'll post a log when I get home later.
It really would be excellent if this can be fixed before the season starts.

I know its right because If I use the Nbsc app it works but the quality of the picture is really really poor.It doesn't buffer but the picture is blurred,is there any checks or settings that anyone can shed light on so I can improve the picture quality, or has the log in Issue been fixed so I can use the kodi app as when I used it last time it was crystal clear.
Many thanks in advance.

have you tried the AUTOMATCALLY PLAY BEST STREAM
yep tried that and two different login, one with comcast and one with directv. neither of them works.I would also like to thank the developer for his time and effort he has put into this app,When a fix comes it will come. In the mean time I will keep coming back and checking in.
Have people tried version 2016.2.3.2 it works flawlessly for me the developer has done amazing job on this,so much that ive ditched my ipad and apple tv
I get the error below when trying to play a non-free stream. I'm a Comcast (xfinity) subscriber and have verified that my username and password are correct in ~/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.nbcsnliveextra/settings.xml.

Here's a link to the log with debug turned on: http://pastebin.com/N3H8P1mq

This is with version 2016.4.19 running on Kodi 16.1.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have this same problem
Cox subscriber, NBCSN is part of my package, and I can watch on their website on the same Win7 Computer that the LiveExtra add-on for Kodi does *not* work on.
Green titles are fine, Blue titles throw a 'NBC Live Exra Error, Check the log for more information' every singe time.
Kodi has a larger, cleaner image that is ad-free, and I use it because I have guests that come to watch.
Anyhoo, I have Notepad-based test versions of the logs, but I cannot upload them. If I try, I get 'Kodi Log Uploader Error, Check the log for more information' errors notices.

Having dealt with Cox, NBCSN, and Live Extra's Web interface, I am willing to bet five to one that it is one of their issues, and not the dev's software. But if anyone has any ideas about a workaround, I am all ears.
I can e-mail the text file debug log anywhere, post it somewhere, or follow simple and explicit instructions of anyone who is willing to help.

Now might be the time to upgrade from Win 7 to 10 before it ceases to be free, the NBCSLE Windows universal app works much better than the web interface, the picture isn't quite as good as Kodi's but its full screen with no stupid banner ad taking up the top portion of the screen.
On a side note does anyone know if the kodi app at 1080 is using the apple tv feed its noticeably better than the ipad feeds ive seen
will this work with att dsl

*sigh*

So hate the idea of Win 10.
I tried to start with the machine in my 'office', and it threw a disclaimer saying that my box was not up to snuff in some way, and that it couldn't be updated to Win 10. No reason why was given, and I just haven't revisited it.
The Devil you know, etc.

No ideas on how to get Kodi to accept my Cox login info for the premium content, though?
Austrian Grand Prix was a bit more tasking today because the commercial skip cheat code wasn't working...
Well, I upgraded (mind you, I am not fully comfortable using that word for this process) one of the boxes to Win10, and DL'ed the app.
Not really that happy.
It's prettier than the Web-interface, but just as damned buggy. No way to find *just* the sports replays that I am interested in, no way to alphabetize them, or arrange them chronologically, and for some reason, replays that have found their way to the web and the Kodi interfaces are not represented on the app.
Austria's Grand Prix (events being held from 7/1- 7/3) have still not found their way onto the app.
NBC's internet interface team is being led by a video producer, weak with computer and web background, and hiring old buds from the video editing rooms and having them supervise a group of either incompetent programmers or not allowing competent programmers to work their best.
It is the worst streaming conduit I have run across to date, other than some that just did not work at all.
NBC should be embarrassed by this, but seemingly, they are not.
That said, I do not hate the Kodi interface, and would dearly be able to make that work.
Anyone have any ideas as to how to proceed in that direction?
Anyone have an issue when watching the Golf Channel feed? I'm on XFinity and when I'm playing the Golf Channel and the feed goes to commercial, whenever it returns it seems to be almost in fast forward with no sound. Any fixes out there?

You are not alone. The handling of transition to commercial break and then back to the stream fails more than 50% of the time for me. When that happens I have to restart Kodi and find my way back to the NBC Sports Live add-on and Golf Channel stream. When it doesn't
"break", the return from commercial break to Golf Channel streaming sometimes is in the "fast forward" mode without sound as you mention.

It's a great add-on and I thank the developers for their work, but this problem is pretty frustrating. If the problem were solved, this would be my most used add-on.
Last year I purchased a season pass which used comcast details.. It worked fine..
I am about to purchase one for the next football season, has comcast accounts stopped working for good?

I have been offered a directv account and told this works, does anyone else use this and does it work?
My account with Comcast Xfinity has also stopped working and shows error when I try to enter NBC. Is the problem with the add-on or the account as I have now been offered an account with Direct TV.
