its in Appdata on windows but good luck finding the right line to edit

Find your Kodi data folder.

Then go to \Kodi\addons\plugin.video.nbcsnliveextra\resources

Edit globals.py

I'm using nvidia shield TV with es file explorer when I open files in xbmc it's empty any ideas?

Any suggestions on what app to use to edit a .py on Windows please?

or notepad

use the find function (crtl + f) to find the lines you want to change, for instance

Notepad ++ is free and good

Even after doing the fix, the Arsenal game is not working via Kodi - all others are fine.

Arsenal game is fine on the site.

First, thank you for your posts. I have also had this issue with "failed to authorize" and somehow got it to work for the Manchester United game (the problem is back again for the 3pm games).

To answer your question, I noticed that my games are at 720p as well.

By the way and sorry for the off topic, but I'm pretty sure you probably will be able to help me, this post here, do you know why I can play this add-on with a DNS service, but watchESPN doesn't work?

I'm not sure to be honest. I've never used dns before only vpn. My guess is maybe the one that doesn't work maybe blocks the dns. Just a wild guess lol.

Thanks for the reply, since no one answered me on that thread, I thought maybe I was asking about something that is illegal or something. All the while here, people are pretty active and it's basically the same thing and the same way of accessing the services abroad.

On topic: it looks like this issue happens again and again after you exit the game and you need to edit the file.

The 1080p stream is working on the website. This is about NBC though and not the add on, they just aren't streaming 1080p on mobile today for some reason.

thanks to the guy that posted the fix, it worked for me in windows, sometimes the streams still dont let me in, but I just keep trying and it eventually lets you in after editing globals.py

Inside the nbc addon file open up resources and open the globals.py file and edit the above by removing the # from the two lines

Thanks mate managed it. I just removed the one # from the second line seems to have worked ok. Do you need to put it back in later?
