After a bit of reading it seems NBC no longer have rights to show premier league games on the Windows 10, Xbox One and the Samsung app, that is why the games no longer appear even in the official app in Windows. They still work on iOS and Android though so maybe the dev could make some changes to this addon to use those streams instead. Not an each change no doubt but it would be massively appreciated by the community if it could be achieved as this addon is a big miss!
If the addon is not working, anyone have a suggestion of what app to use that works best on android boxes? Scrolling does not work using the NBC official app and is not box friendly.
Cheers
Yes really miss the add on too. When I use the Android NBCSN add on on my minix X8 box I get very poor picture quality on my Samsung tablet perfect, any ideas guys ?
Yes pic quality of official app on my t8 box is crap.

using a mouse will solve this problem. Wireless one usb or bluetooth even better.
Ha ha dtsexpert - good shout - I never thought of doing that.
Still leaves a question of if there is a better app that offers better quality as the picture is pretty poor. Can't see any where in the app to change any quality settings.

If your able to run a vpn directly off your router the Apple TV 3 or 4 nbc sports app offers the same picture quality as the kodi add on did, if your unable to use the router option you could try setting up a virtual hotspot on a laptop by using software like virtualrouterplus or connectify.
Another option is the fire tv/stick the nbc sports app is remote native and it offers a very good picture

I should also mention that both the the Apple TV and fire devices work with smart dns you can configure the Apple TV via the wifi menu ,the fire devices you have to set your ip to static and change the dns that way
I always thought when using the App the pic quality was dependent on how good your Wi Fi strength was to how good of a picture you would get

Its it but you its potentially the same quality as the kodi add on if your internet can cope with it
Well if your using the Android NBC Sports App then its Wi Fi only and if your Wi Fi signal speed is poor then your not going to get a very good pic i tried on my last T8 V3 and the pic was rubbish due to the Wi Fi now im using The minix neo u1 with Fake Wi Fi in which the app thinks im connected to Wi Fi when really i get ethernet speeds and the pic is decent. I need to change my router also to a dual band
