When you say premium channel, do you mean anything listed in blue?
If I go in to live & upcoming and click on anything blue, I get a message saying 'playback failed - one or more items failed to play ... ect
The ad-on settings only has the following sections; General, Stream and Filter
Neither of which display a login option.
Sorry, I was thinking of the old version of the add-on. So now when you select a premium 'blue' link a msgbox should popup with a code and url to activate your account. You need to perform this on a second device (pc, smartphone, etc.) Once you've successfully activated press ok and you should be able to watch premium content.
If you are getting a playback failed message try going to the addon settings and turning on the Deactivate Device toggle and repeat the login process. Remember this add-on is only for valid users who live in the US. If you are using methods to side step this restriction you are on your own.

I have gone through this process twice. I have switched television content providers to try to get this to work (I *really* like the app!). I have tried different OS's, I have cleared all my browsing data *and* deauthorised my device in Kodi's addon settings. I have pretty much exhausted the things that I can try to make this work, and still I get the 'One or more items failed to play, Check your logs...'pop-up.
*ANY* idea as to what I can try next?
I had the same problem after upgrade to Kodi 17.1 or 17.3 NBC needs to authorized ( It authorized but doesn't hold) and never works. everything is blue
I tried NBC Legacy with my real account still doesn't work. I used fire stick in my case.
Weird thing is my Kodi 16 load from pc still running fine, NBC GOLF channel still working without a hitch.
Any idea ? Is this Kodi problem or link problem ?

Made a XDA forum account just to thank you for this lovely addon.
Having some issues with authorizing. It accepts everything I enter but when I get to go back and play a link I get the same "this device is not authorised message". Is there any chance of the legacy app coming back where we enter details in the app itself? Never had issues with that method. Love your work as always and long may it continue.
Its seems NBC have a new subscription service via NBCSN sports gold app, would be really fantastic
if we could get an app for Kodi, of course only with a legal login.
Just been checking this addon again before the football starts, I can watch everything apart from any football game, so there is nothing wrong with my login details but any match I click on will not work so looks like there a bug with the football section I would advice you guys to check before the season starts that way eracknaphobia does not get bomb barded with posts on the first day of the season, I wonder if this has anything to do with the new app and they have changed the settings for the football
I just installed the addon and when I open a stream it says go to activatenbcsports.com which takes you to a 3rd party site. I don't know anything about this site is it OK to use?

This site is fine. Its the same method that the ESPN and Foxsportsgo add ons use. It ensures that the developer does not have to code in each different cable provider by using this central point the networks have set up themselves.

UPDATE
Works great, looks like any NBC sports event from any NBC channel is here in one place.
So guys can any of you open any of the football games as the one in blue & green don't work in the replay/highlight section just tells me to check my log but I can watch all the other sports fine
