Actually the highest available is 1080p.
Hmm weird.. For me it only goes up to 720p at the highest quality. Maybe they lower it on some streams. Anyway, still worth double checking the stream quality has changed if your fiddling with it.
For EPL I have not seen 1080p. Golf channel is 1080p.
I get 1080, but I think I made a mod to allow bitrate above 4mbps, can't remember. 1080 is available on my feed.
There may be a reason the original author left it out. I notice that most folks run through a proxy/VPN and 1080 is not likely to work.

I have found the following - http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewto...36&t=81654 and https://www.my-private-network.co.uk/kno...rrypi.html. The 2nd one of those seems easier to follow [ especially since the first 4 steps are about installing RaspBMC which I have already done ]
One question, once openVPN is installed does the Pi use it to get to anywhere on the network ? ie will it affect the RaspBMC's ability to talk to a mySQL database on my internal network or do any of it's movie and tv scraping ?
Finally, which VPN service do you use ?
I use Private Internet Access. It's really simple with Openelec using the VPN addon I mentioned earlier. You just choose your location you want to connect to and away you go.
Do you mean the metalketle repo one ? I just install the openVPN addon and put in my PIA details and that's it ?
Worked it out now, thanks for the help olliepop.
Can I just leave it connected to the VPN now and it will still do all the other KODI stuff as normal ?
I signed upto PIA VPNbut found it really slows my internet speed to around 10mb, i have a 100mb connection?
There is no NBC Live on the list of add ons for XBMC add ons

With Speedify this works excellently now no buffers so far
I see some people on here that are not in the US have access to a log on so they can also use the APP.
Can you advise how you gained access to this if it wasnt through friends and family in the US? I would be interested in acquiring one to test out the APP,
as well.
A PM would be much appreciated.
Many thanks,
I m new to the forum, bust just been browsing and would like to watch the EPL.
Basic research got me to the point that I need a VPN (currently have AirVpn)
Also have the new Pi 2 with Kodi.
I downloaded the NBC Live Extra app, just need to install it.
Is it a simple case of using the openvpn config file for Airvpn and connecting to a US server and loading up NBC.
I tried to do this on my Android phone using the android app and AirVPN, it asks me to login to a US network provider to gain access?
Would I get the same issue with the app on Kodi?
If so how can I get around this?[/align]

Why pay $9pm for a 50GB data limit on Speedify when you can pay $6pm for an unlimited VPN connection and get exactly the same results ?

No problem, and yes. It disconnects when you turn off Kodi and restart it. I just connect when using this addon though or the official addon on my iPad.

even when you only use it to stream sports?
also i only use it for merging my two internet to get 70Mbit/s so yes it's worth it.
