If anyone can find an example of using python to login to a SAML server using python or better yet a kodi addon which does this that would help speed things up. I myself have never had experience recreating this kind of process with python code. The closest thing I could find was
this. If anyone with python experience can lend a hand I'd greatly appreciate it.

Did you have to login with your cable / satellite provider credentials? This is roughly how nbcsn handles it: You pick your cable / satellite subscriber, they forward you to your providers webpage to login, once you successfully login you come back to nbcsn with the appropriate cookies and videos are unlocked.

I know its not a solution for many here but for those that have a valid NBC login the Windows 8.1 app is almost as good as watching through Kodi (I assume the IOS and Android apps would be too) and much better than the awful browser version.
I have nbc app on android and doesn't work for me but works on ios
I want to thank the author for creating this add-on and providing months of quality viewing via XBMC/Kodi. Sadly I couldn't watch live footage last weekend - a game would start playing and then revert back to the main menu after 15 seconds or so. I'd gladly donate for a fix. or maybe someone could advise on the cheapest way for me to get an NBC login. Thanks.

hi mite be daft ? but how do you get this app in windows 8.1 ive looked but its not there
Are you sure this issue is down to the addon?
I've got a valid NBC logon and I've just tried the Premier League replays on the official android app and they aren't playing on there either. It authenticates then loads the strem and goes straight back off Golf Channel is, as is Men in Blazers, pro football talk etc. . Golf and Men in Blazer and pro football talk still work in the Kodi addon too.
Premier League replays are working in the browser version in windows though.
So seeing as the official NBC Android app is having the exact same issues, I'd say there's a chance the problem is their end.
ive just tried the replays on my android box an mx3 and they worked after i updated the app
